After I come out the shower I comb my hair put in my serums/leave in conditioner then put my hair in a high bun for the night n when I wake up take it down I have beautiful curls ( when putting in bun don't brush use your fingers for desired look)

You could also make 2 sections in your hair & twist them inward while they dry for waves.

I don't like using heat either. what I do is I:
use its a 10 hair serum on wet/damp hair
roll it up with my anti static hair drying towel (has microfibers to absord excess water quicker) h2o sucks on my hair.
then when it feels like it can be air dried with no hassle, I put it down and by then the serum makes my hair easy to detangle..I use a wide tooth comb and just stroke my hair softly until the tangles come out.. when I'm done I just put a dime size of the serum again and let dry fully.
my hair is so soft and silky. my fiance runs his hands through my hair with ease. well..that's the technique I do..

Do a French twist down the sides of your head then once you get both section to the back do a regular braid or a rope braid.
