I'm a sucker for big, curly, "volumized" hair so recently I've been rocking some faux-natural looks.
My hair has grown a lot in the past year and so I'm trying to make a conscious effort to keep up with it so that it's healthy enough to maintain its natural body without a ton of added chemical, thus I'm considering going natural.
I consider myself "mostly natural" now meaning I only relax my hair about 3-4 times a year and I never relax the entire thing, just the crown and the top center of my head (where I part my hair).
I love the thickness my natural hair has so I don't bother relaxing it away just to curl it back out.
Anyone recently gone natural? What have you results been? How would you describe the process? Feel free to share your pics, please!
FYI, my hair appears ombre, but really I've just allowed the color to grow out and it just so happened to become a trend at the right time. I know over-processing includes coloring so I'm laying off of that for a while.
I want to do a series sharing tips on how I've grown my hair. I want to start from scratch so my viewers and I can grow our hair together. (via http://www.youtube.com/NeneKennedy)
