So, aside from my hair being super damaged, my scalp is starting to become uncomfortable. I'm not sure what it is. I keep my hair out of a hair tie as often as possible and only wash every other day. Sometimes even every two days. Anyone have any answers for me? Solutions? Thanks!

What shampoo and products do you use? Have you recently had color or highlights done?

I bleached my hair to go blonde about 6 months ago but it was so hard to keep up so I dyed it back to a brown neatest my actual color. I have a scalp condition that's similar to dandruff so I have to use a special shampoo which unfortunately has sulfate in it. So I only shampoo when my hair is greasy/my scalp is itchy which is usually every other day or every two.

I use conditioning masks, leave in conditioners, and oil serums to hydrate my hair. But my scalp seems super sensitive and it isn't due to my scalp condition because it isn't new and the irritation is fairly new.

My mums friend is a hair dresser and she treated someone with the same problems except they didn't have a scalp condition. Her advice is to give your hair oil treatments and massages weekly with argan, castor or even olive oil. You can also try mixing one part shampoo with one part water before washing your hair if you think your shampoo may be adding to the problem. Also, you might want to try mixing a little bit of apple cider vinegar and water and washing your hair with that and normal water as I heard it helps itchy and sensitive scalps. I hope this helps you! Xx
