I've always wanted to try red lipstick but I don't know if it would go well with my skin tone, I'm Hispanic so I have tan medium/light skin I tried this dark redish brown color the other day thinking that the dark color would look better with my skin tone but my husband didn't like it:/ is red lip stick just not for everyone??

I think a bright red would be perfect against your skin tone, especially if you have dark features and hair!

I disagree I think there is a tone of red that makes any skin tone look amazing!:) I have a similar skin tone and Russian red works really well, so does loreal endless lipstick in saucy sangria which is a bit more burgundy, also NYC lipstick in sheer red ( not so sheer lol) and lastly NYC retro red is a great bright red that works with my skin tone.

There is definitely a red out there for everyone, you just have to do a little trial and error. I tried for a long time and found a lot of reds turned pink or orange on me. finally a while ago Russian red (mac) came to my rescue. so just take a look around at what is out there! 💄

Coral crush by Maybelline is a great start. That's what I used for my first red
