Ok, so I have started to completely avoid buying eyeliner pencils, because every time it gets to the point that I need to sharpen it I go to and it breaks in the sharpener or doesn't get sharp enough. So, I keep sharpening and sharpening and before I know it I'm half way through the pencil! Help me out ladies! I've started to just use gel and an angle but, I miss the convenience and quickness of a pencil!

Try p putting the pencil in the refrigerator for about 10 min and then sharpen it. It makes it much easier to sharpen it! ;)

I think you need a good sharpener.

Either a good sharpener or a good pencil. I use Mac PowerPoint and it sharpens perfectly! I know what you mean about it breaking, but honestly, none of my better quality (aka just not the cheapest ones) have broken in the sharpener.

I use the twist up occasionally, and I think part of it s personal preference but I find sometimes they are wobbly and I prefer the point you can get from an actual pencil.

Neutrogena has a good retractable. & if I'm not mistaken, it has a little sharpener one the end.

I think ill give the retractable a try. Using an angled brush all the time can get messy easier and makes me not want to do eyeliner. Thanks gals :)

You need a good sharpener or buy retractable liners!
