I have NEVER broke out this bad! I'm usually confident but I'm getting insecure everytime I look in the mirror. I'm trying oxy acne clearer but its not working so well. I'm trying to let my face breath and not wear makeup but I'm insecure I always throw it on when going out in public... I'm 22 if that helps at all.

Same thing happened to me the about 2 years ago when I was 22. I tried to wear makeup but it just made it worse. Unfortunately nothing worked for my face and I just had to ride it out. It left a lot of scarring but I've been steadily getting rid of it. A piece of advice use a toner about 3 times a day, the drier and less oily your face is, the better. Good luck girl, I sympathize with you.

It's probably just a hormonal thing that will run its course.

It might be what you eating! Do you eat a lot of dairy like cheese and milk? Also try not to eat a lot of things with sugar and salt! And eat whole grain bread instead of white, maybe it was a recent change in your diet?

Diet plays a large role maybe cut dairy 1st week then wheat then grains ect.

Organic honey is supposed to be amazing is stopping and healing breakouts. Just use the organic honey as a mask a few times a week and it might help :) it's a lot less expensive then some other acne treatments :)

Why? Why ladies?! I can't tell you how happy my clientele are with the Mary Kay acne-fighters set it sells for only $42 which has cleanser, moisturizer, toner and an unbelievable treatment gel for current blemishes!! Don't forget that poping them is not the way although it's hard try to resist not only because it scars your skin but also because the gel will sting when applied if there is broken skin but it does miracles my 16 yr old cuz got a pimple day before valentines and freaking out he finally came to me! I used the set on him and the next day he text me saying, "hey your Mary Kay stuff really does work!" I was a little put off because he didn't believe me in the first place but all is well that ends well and he is yet another satisfied customer;)

Use clinique, 123 steps of cleansing exfoliating and moisturizing, it really helped me. Choose according to your skin type

I use this stuff and it works really well for me, I normally get it at a Macy's makeup counter

@kati the honey thing works wonders for me! I do the honey mask anywhere from 2 to 45 minutes (which if I'm breaking out bad you can bet I'll keep it on the full 45). I follow up with apple cider vinegar / green tea toner and finally a thin layer of coconut oil. naturally, I keep it all pure and organic. @michelle, after doing this, the next morning looking in the mirror feels like a god send!

It honestly depends on your skin type, I'm super dry, and using certain cleansers and exfoliaters made my acne worse, it also popped up out of no where. I used the Vichy 3in1 cleanser and a vitamin e moisturizer at night. Unfortunately if its hormonal not too much will help, you can see your doctor about it but try to use natural remedies.
Don't pick at the spots and try to steam your pores and then close them with cold water daily to clean out any excess stuff in your pores. Be careful not to burn yourself and good luck!
