Ladies,
who here wears high waist shorts? I love the look, but have only seen them on shorter females. I'm 5'9, would they look good on me? I just feel as if I would look a lot taller :(

I have five pairs and I wear then all the time. I'm only 5'2 and am 120lbs but 34c and am hippy as well lol. you would look fine in them. they would look great because it excentuates Your curves and keeps everything sleek and in placr.

I think it's more about torso length and width that is called into play here. They only look good on those with a relatively long and narrow torso. definitely not for short waisted gals , and not for the thicker waisted either imo. a look that is very hard to pull off which is why the look has never really taken off, whether it was jeans or shorts.

No, just long waisted/long torso and not boxy shaped. Curvy and hour glass shaped could work certainly.

Reason being that the high waist visually cuts the torso shorter and that doesn't look great if the torso is already short. also it's just not a look that I love anyway so I probably pickier about who can wear it than someone who loves the look. No tea, no shade.

I will bow out now, I shouldn't have said anything. I realize it's a whole other ball of wax for a man to comment on a woman's shape , but I never meant that there was a particular size, just certain proportions that pull off the look better.
