I love my hard candy tiki bronzer it's shimmery but works the same as any other bronzer.

It highlights the parts you're trying to shade, hence most people's preference for a matte bronzer. I don't even like Nars Laguna due to the shimmer..

I will use my shimmers all over but I use my matte bronzers for contouring only, you can use a shimmer bronzer for contouring but my I've tanned so much recently my shimmery bronzers don't really work that great for contouring anymore
