Ok guys, next week Friday will b the first time I enter a nightclub. I was wondering what is appropriate to wear. I'm petite and have a pear shaped body. I love dresses but cannot wear anything too tight. I love to wear tights as well! Please give me some ideas as to what to wear because ill be shopping this weekend! Thanks.

I think a dress with some heels and a clutch or cross body would cute! But you should always wear what makes you comfortable that is still in check with the club's dress code if it has one. And have fun girl :)

At a club you can wear anything you want. The real question is why are you going to the club? To hang out with friends? Dress cute to impress your girls. Cute, not too tight, good make up, cute flat shoes. Are you there to pick up a guy? Then you'd want something date worthy with some heels and good, tight jewelry (there's nothing more annoying than the girl with a necklace that goes down to her belly button and she's moving enough to hit people with it). Stick with makes you comfortable and beware of how much attention you want to grab and your intentions of going.

I always stick with nice jeans (usually skinny legs) and a fancy-er/nice top, and maybe some ankle boot pumps (or cute flats if my feet aren't feeling that craziness. lol). Jewelry is good, moderate to heavy (not trashy) makeup is usually acceptable (depending on the town you visit).
I know you said you're more the girly type, but this is just an alternate suggestion. :)

Cute dress, or cute jeans with a nice top. If you want to make a grand slam appearance wear some cute heels.. But always bring some cute but comfy flats to change into when your feet start to hurt :) leave them in the car. Hope this helps :))
