I've had the same nail split in the center of my middle finger, I've tried gel nails, acrylics and the tea bag super glued to the nail tip trick and nothing is working! Please leave me any tips or products you've used to solve this.

I'm left handed and the nail of my middle finger on that hand grows funny too, always splits down the side when it reaches a certain length. Mine was caused by writing a lot and the pen being pressed against my nail, my actual finger even has a dint in it where my pen sits. As far as I am aware there is nothing you can do, certain types of traumas to your nail bed cause this to happen. You may have once trapped your finger in a door or something and that could have caused it even though you didnt realise it at the time. Sorry I couldnt be more help but at least you are not the only one xx

It might just be the way your nail is. sometimes using a buffer on it will make it less noticeable but it won't get rid of it all together.
