I'm curious whts the purpose of doing that?why?

Ashley M.
Well because you want to. What's the purpose of dying your hair or doing your nails or wearing makeup? Personal preference I suppose.

I've been stretching my lobes since I was 12 and now I'm almost 17. It's just something that made me feel good about myself. (;

I love wearing the silicone ones. Mine are 1/2" and my ear skins are the most comfortable ones, with some I find that they irritate my ear and make it red but the silicone ones never do :)

Love wooden ones! They're light and your ears don't smell as bad when you wear em! X,D.

Wood is better due to sometimes the other material ones make your ears stink! I love the marble ones too. But really any long as there not too cheap and you clean them often ;)

I prefer silicone; they're the only kind I've found that don't leave that "ear funk". I have a set of tigers eye plugs but haven't stretched up to get to use them. (I'm at 7/16ths & eventually want to go up to 1/2")

Beth, I agree :) no one likes that "ear funk". Mine got bad even with daily cleaning, but with the silicone ones you can avoid the nasty stuff. What do you guys use to keep your ears clean? I use a bar of dial soap when I'm in the shower.

I definitely prefer wood over anything else. It completely neutralizes any "odor" which is non existent if you keep your lobes clean. I wash mine with coconut oil and water.

I'm 30mm at the moment and using silicon. I'm trying to get back down to a 20mm.

I wash mine in the shower and use jojoba oil after :3.

Acrylic, but that is mostly because everything else kills my ears for some reason (no other body parts, just ears).
