A bb cream is a blemish balm/ beauty balm.. It's a moisturiser tinted foundation suncreen etc.all in one. It's lighter on your skin than a foundation is and usually has light coverage, but it's supposed to be beneficial for your skin : )

A primer helps your makeup stay put so you won't have to to keep reapplying your makeup and a bb cream is like a foundation but doesn't have as much coverage, well it depends on what brand you buy

They both can go under foundation after moisturizer but bb cream can also be a substitute for moisturizer primer and foundation its like a one stop shop for all your face basics.

The big difference between bb cream from tinted moisturizer is the added SPF. Some drug store ones add things that are supposed to help soothe inflammation and redness like aloe. I would go on YouTube and look for bb cream comparisons because coverage and consistency is extremely different depending on the brand. I have heard a lot of good things about garnier's bb cream. But don't be fooled - US bb cream and Asian bb creams are completely and totally different

Bb cream means beauty balm, it started in Asia, and honestly those brands are much better than the American versions if you can find your correct shade (YouTube is a great place to narrow down what would work for you). Primer basically lays a foundation over your skin for makeup to go on more smooth and flawless. A primer isn't that necessary of a step for makeup, it works great for some people but does nothing or makes skin worse for others.
