My parents work in a nail salon, so I'm kinda an expert. If you have short weak nails, I suggest using some cuticls oil to make the nail healthier. you could also buy certain treatments out there that are made for your nail type. also, you could use a strenghtening base coat under yoir nail polish. hope this helps.

I wouldnt do the acrylics if you want your natural nails healthier but if your only concerned about how they look do acrylics 👌
