Two nights ago I decided to dab a bit of tea tree oil on my face and I ended up with some parts of my face red and I started to break out after that. I used it before last year and it was really good until one day I had an allergic reaction and my cheeks were so red people thought I went crazy on blush! Has this ever happened to anyone?

Never use pure tea tree oil as it is too hard for cosmetic use. I would suggest mixing a couple drops with a harmless oil like vitamin e/rose hip oil. For blemishes I'd recommend freederm spot gel which contains witch hazel.
