Would it be such a crime to use the Naked Basics palette for contouring purposes? I really want a contouring palette but any that aren't a ridiculous price are just a blusher and a Bronzer. Naked Basics seems perfect for just £20!

You can but your going to run through it fast try BH cosmetics they have a blush bronzer contour palette for around 15 I think it's 8 total colors.

As Shy said, it'll run out quickly. Sleek makeup have an amazing contour kit, it's very cheap (6 or 7 pounds) and it works as well as the high end contour sets.
