I've bitten them for as long as I can remember and I really want to stop but I don't know any good ways to! Any ideas?

You can buy stuff at most drugstores that is like clear nail polish but tastes really bad. You just paint it on like any normal nail polish, and then when you bite your nails it tastes terrible so eventually you break the habit. It worked for my brother ;)

Treat yourself to the nail salon and get some gel nails! Keep them on for a long as they stay for you and it will really help. That's how I stopped :)

Paint your nails every week. Try to do cool designs so you don't want to ruin them by biting them.

My motivation to stop was that I'm obsessed with manicures and keeping pretty long nails so everytime I bit I knew I was ruining the chance of being able to get a pretty manicure and then I stopped!

Paint your nails or wipe nail polish remover over them. It tastes so bad you'll stop!

If you're a germaphobe like I am, this thought will disgust you into discontinuing that bad habit. There's dirt under your nails that, when you bite them, enters your stomach. This then enters your appendix, causes it to infect, and, if not treated, can rupture and kill you.

If you paint your nails continuously, or every week you could possibly stop but your nails will turn so yellow and peel so bad that they'll become brittle and they'll chip, and you'll have to cut them short again so that they can grow and be healthy again. That method will most likely not work just paint your nails once, then let them breathe.
