Carnival camouflage makeup?

I'm going to a carnival tomorrow where everyone dresses up, and I'm dressing up as a military officer, and so is my boyfriend. So I'm doing his and my makeup! Do any of you ladies have tips, hints (like should I use brushes, sponges, fingers) etc. for camouflage makeup? Pictures would be great too! Thanks!💋

I would say use sponges! We used those in our high schools musical for foundation and on a bunch of people dressed as toys like the G. I. Joe and rag dolls and it looked really good!
