Who has watched my video on contouring and highlighting pale skin. It seems to have done really well on here, I knew there wasn't many tutorials on it but I didn't expect to get such a response. I love beautylish :)

Kathryn you should, why should we be left with flat moon faces just cos we can't pull off bronzers and banana powders lol. And thank you Aleighnna :)

I love the NYX taupe. Watching your tutorial really improved what I was doing! I hate having pictures taken at night with flash and looking like a flat moon face haha.

Do you recommend any other nyx blushes for the contouring? I saw a few other colors on their website that look like they may work.. or do you really recommend the taupe?

PS. the video was awesome Kim! I learned so much! And I totally bought the nyx jumbo pencil in milk for Halloween makeup just by fluke a couple years ago, and now because of beautylish I have learned that it is such a versatile pencil. But I had never heard of it being used as a highlighter before until your video, so I am super stoked to try it out! Yaaay! Thanks Kim!

This is actually the first NYX blush I've tried as I'm from the UK and nowhere sells it here so I've only just started investigating and had this recommended to me but I do really like it. You try out whatever you fancy though, you'll know best what you feel like you need colour wise. If you don't like it at least you should be able to wear it as blush considering that's what it is lol :)

I'll have to check this out!! I'm fair and have just kind of started playing with bronzer/contouring a bit and usually feel pretty lost haha. I've seen it done a lot but always feel like even then the person demonstrating is already kind of bronzed or have darker tones than I do so I have a hard time deciding what looks good for me personally.

Highlighting with the nyx jumbo pencil in milk was one of the best suggestions ever! I tried it for the first time yesterday and what a difference it made! Thank you Kim S. :)

Caitlin, yeah it's hard to find tips from anyone paler and any that I have seen are recommending strange things like peach and coral colours. There is one girl, I can't remember her name, Liza something, she did one using the Illamasqua cream pigment in Hollow which looks amazing, I really wanna try it! And then after a while she switched to something else which looked really good as well. I'm definitely going to investigate and let you know if I find anything better! And Kathryn I'm pleased I could help! :) It is amazing, it just means it runs out super fast if you're using it for that and then on your lids as well. I try to keep the bit that comes off when I sharpen it just to stop it running out as fast haha. So stingey
