Here's my room it's 70's inspired. I love the color because at times it looks purple but other times it looks blue. I'm trying to direct it more toward the retro theme so I'm adding some shag rugs and a magenta bean bag chair to match.as you can see, there's a Beatles poster as the focal point because they are my favorite band and a big part of the 70's. I suggest you take your favorite band/singer or era in time and base it around that. Hope this sparks some ideas (:
