Find a concealer a shade lighter than your skin. Maybelline has great concealers - cheap too :)

A brighter concealer does not counteract darkness under the eyes. It can actually make it look worse. If you have blue/purple undertones under your eyes you need to use a salmon concealer if you have brown dark circles you need something brightening like lilac purple/yellow. I have blue/purple dark circles and benefits erase paste is amazingggg. Use the corrective concealer then you skin tone concealer on top.

I have to disagree, the eye brighter does help brighten the area and when used with a concealer such as salmon which I use the combo does balance out.

I didn't say the brightening concealer doesn't work. I said a brighter concealer, probably should have said lighter colored concealer. :) oops! I actually use the neutrogena brightening concealer in my kit and yes like you said Alma it does work great with a correcting concealer.
