I used to bite my cuticles all the time, sometimes until they bled, and what got me to stop is painting my nails and easing my way out of the habit. First try not biting your nails, but just putting them against your teeth, then move on to just putting them in your mouth, then out of your mouth like on your lips, until you really have no reason to put your hands near your face. It won't be quick or easy, but it worked for me so here's hoping it'll help you out too.

I use the break the habit polish I got at walmart for like $2. It slowed down after two spread out uses. What it does is it has a terrible taste so that when you bite your fingernails you just get that horrible bitter taste in your mouth, therefore tricking your brain to make you not wanna bit anymore!

Can you paint your nails and put that stuff over it? I hate having plain nails!

What I did was got acrylic nails sense I wanted long, gorgeous nails anyway. haha they grew out so fast and I just soaked them off and strengthened them. they're still pretty (:

Within a week, I stopped biting my nails entirely and now they are really long and pretty.
Hope this helped!
