Polyvore is great for inspiration :) try to have fun a bit and try on clothes that maybe you can't see yourself in but you like something about it.. sometimes I'm surprised when I like a dress not thinking of wear it buy end up trying it on and loving it!

I was the same way than I went on youtube and such and looked at ootd and then started looking at like bolder shirts or with ones with prints I don't go to bold but I still do wear plain. Just like the other person kinda like just pick something you think wouldn't wear or just try it and see how you feel about it.
