I love using liquid! Good drugstore brands are Rimmel exaggerate, styli and maybelline stiletto liner.

They all have their purpose. Pencil for a more smoked out look. Liquid for darker precise look. And finally gel/creme for a smooth soft but yet dark (depending on the brand) look. Eyeliners there are Milani and Rimmel. Liquid are Jordana and Elf. & Gel/Creme Elf, Wet&Wild & Physicians Formula!

If I want a thick, dark line with a nice wing I prefer gel and use the one from maybelline. Liquid liner is best for getting crisp and thin lines! (Not that you can't do thick liquid lines!)
