I feel like everytime I use a pencil to shape my eye brows they always come out thicker than normal and they make me look crazy. when I use a brow shadow they come out looking normal but not as crisp as I would like them too even when I use concealer. does anybody have an suggestions? maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Shape them with a wax and then fill them in with the powder...or you can fill them in with a powder and then apply a clear brow mascara over it like the Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara. There are a lot of companies that make eyebrow kits that have a wax and powder together. That way they look shaped best still maintain your natural shape. You can also use a sealant over the powder like the E.l.f Makeup Lock and Seal.

Its one of those things that just takes practice. and maybe switching to an angle brush and a gel liner might be the answer, I use the mac fluidline in dip down for my brows and I love it.
