I've never gotten in to primer but sense watching some YouTube videos I have notices that they are very useful and something I want to try. I do however have sensitive skin that is acne prone. Is there any primer out there that isn't harsh or even helps with acne like my other makeup does?

I use the bare minerals primer; I think it's silicone based but it helps smooth my skin and helps my makeup last all day. I haven't had any breakouts from it, but just in case I always take my makeup off right when I get home so my skin can breath. They have a good blemish concealer too that I find actually helps my skin clear up and covers very well. Hope that helps!

Candace, the same thing happened to me
The body's shop tea tree oil products broke me out so horrible
I have sensitive skin and use benefits primed poreless, but it's the only one I've ever tried so I can't compare it to others

I use murad primer dewy finish or matte. I doesn't cause breakout for my face and provide a good canvas for my bb cream n foundation.

I'm using Laura Merciers Oil Free Primer. I have the same problem breaking out with different products but this isn't harsh on the skin.
