It depends on the brand! At first it may seem super dark but then after a couple washed it will lighten up.

I think it might be too harsh, they have apps where you can see how you'd look with different hair colors try googling them and see how it looks first.

I don't think black would look too harsh but honestly black is such a pain to get out! I would go with the darkest shade of brown out there and it will fade more naturally. But I also love what you've got going on now! I would say keep this look for summer!

Keep what you already have for summer, in my opinion. When you decide to go dark, perhaps in the fall, I'd choose a chocolate dark brown over a black. Sometimes it looks a little "flat" and I think the deep brown would suit you well!
