I think it would be cute! But think about your profession and the perception a nose ring will give off. I personally wouldn't think a thing about it but some people do. I had a nose ring but because I work in banking I had to take it out. But it is a piercing and can always be removed.

I had my nose pierced a few years ago and when I started Culinary school I was told that I had to remove it. I did and it closed about a month later :( I do miss it!

It would look great on you. I'm a nursing student and every professor is different. The good news is you can change it to a clear stud if you need to. I'd like to keep mine in til I'm at least working as an RN and know I should take it out for good for the sake of hygiene/safety reasons, though every place is different. I've seen some medical assistants have them and they look cute. I love mine!

I think it would look great on you! I've had mine for 9 years now. If there was ever need to remove it for professional reasons you can buy clear spacers keep the piercing open and go back to your jewelry outside of school/work. I'd never get rid of mine. Which side are you thinking? And it wasn't painful at all for me!

Nose piercings are becoming more socially acceptable in the workplace, you should be fine!

@Landrey so those spacers won't show it? sorry for the question but I don't.really know that much :) and I haven't decided which side yet, I was thinking left but now am more inclined to right, lol, so what do you think?

As long as you take good care of it, I've had my nose done 3 times and twice it healed in a weirs way and I had to remove the stud, as for it done with a piercing gun not a needle and with the small flat head stud that resembles a small tack/nail. This one heals flat and can be easily removed its the only o e I found did not get infected

Alya... I used a little bit of vitamin e oil every night and rubbed over the hole. It didn't leave a mark or scar! So at least you know if you change your mind, you can always remove it. :)

@Eileen that's reassuring :) I have so many acne scars already and don't need any extra ones, lol!

They don't show. The clear spacers blend with your skin. I've used them for interviews and jobs. I've found mine at sallys or I'm sure you could get them online.

I did left. But there are times I wish I'd done the right. Are you left or right handed?
