So no matter how many times I try I can't seem get my eyeshadow rounded nicely on the outside (if I just do my eyelid that is obviously another thing). Could anyone give me any tips on how to do this? Here is a picture for an example of what I am talking about (borrowed from Janine F)...

I have the same problem. I try going with my bone structure but that just doesn't seem to help. someone told me to use a light neutral shadow as a guide line, haven't tried it yet but I will some time.

Yeah, when I go with the bone shape it actually likes to be more pointed, and when I try to make it curve doing that it always ends up pointing down :( I will try the light neutral as a guide next time I practice. Thanks.

Do you use a blending brush? I don't ever have a problem achieving this shape whenever I use a good shadow blending brush! If you don't, give it a try, the swirling and buffing motion should just round out the shadow. If that doesn't work try using a cream shadow in a light shade and use your finger to make the shape, then you can use that as a guide for your shadow!

Yeah, I used a blending brush. If I can't get it how Kaitlyn said I shall buy a cream and try that for sure, thanks.

When I try I'll try the guide line and maybe I can shape it like Becca's because I have almond shaped eyes. what shape of eyes do you have Brittany?

Its fairly easy with a deep crease and almond eyes! I can't get mine very pointy ever

I have almond shaped eyes also, they aren't deep set though.

What are they then

They are almost just kind of even, they definitely aren't deep set or bulging.

Use your natural crease as a guide and blend your shadows together with a blending brush. Pat shadow on the lid and sweep it in the crease
