Okay, I want to dye my hair similar to those two pictures there. I'm planning on getting highlights later on but first I'm having trouble picking out the base color similar to that. I want to do my own base color at home so what color and brand would you suggest. & if I go to the hair salon how should I ask them to do my highlights? My hair is dark at the roots and light on my ends because I had dyed it before.
