Hi girls!xxxx
I wear foundation/BB/CC every day, but when I get home from school it is GONE.
My routine: apply primer (smashbox the green one or nars) then I apply my foundation/CC/BB and concealerw. When that's all done I set everything with my Chanel loose powder. And still it fades during the day :( help me please xxxxx

Try looking for makeup setting spray. Urban decay, Mac, skindinavia, are all brands that make them. They set your makeup and keep it looking pigmented (:

Yes. Skindinavia is the best, but it gets expensive. You could look in Sephora or Ulta for different options. It takes away the powdery and cakey look and makes your makeup look a whole lot better and last much longer.

Oh well I can't get that brand in belgium, how's the one from mac or other brands?

Mac is also really good. It's called "MAC fix+". And I'm pretty sure even some drugstore brands make them.

Bb & cc creams have moisturizers in them which naturally get absorbed into the skin leaving you with zero coverage towards the.end of the day. Try a medium coverage foundation like Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation or the new maestro foundation. award winning foundations ;)

Hi Michelle - I think the problem is more with the actual foundation or bb/cc cream you are using than anything. BB/CC creams are nice but most are such light coverage and are more focused on providing moisturization and adding skincare benefits than a focus on longevity. Plus like Kat said the more moisturizers you add the less coverage and longevity you will have. The problem is as of yet there is no miracle product that gives us everything we want like light natural coverage, airbrushed finish and 24 hr staying power without getting greasy or cakey (esp on more oily women) :(
Usually with makeup its usually a trade off...so you have to think what is first on your priority list of what you want from your makeup? If its lasting coverage than you may have to go with a heavier foundation like the Teint Idole Ultra which is pretty heavy duty stuff and may be more coverage and less natural looking than you wish or you can choose to go with a lighter natural coverage like a BB or CC cream but may have to re-apply or do touch up's throughout the day... the finishing sprays will help but they don't always work and usually not all day.
So, if you really want your makeup to last all day then what I would personally recommend is get a heavier more long lasting foundation like the Teint Idole (it does what it says!) but use very little and apply with a damp sponge like the beauty blender which will help give you a lighter more natural looking base but have way more lasting power and hopefully that would be close to meeting most/all of your needs. :)
Although I have tried so many foundations and still have not found that one HG foundation that gives me everything I want.. yet (I am still hopeful)!
