I've used both but honestly have no idea what each are supposed to do. :-( lol.

They both help the ph balance of your skin and tighten pores. witch hazel is just all natural. some people find it too harsh to use alone, I personally use simple skincares toner that has witch hazel in it.

I love which hazel and the smell too. If its too harsh, a some water and do what Aleighanna does. Good stuff. Nature best remedies are great!!

Witch hazel is a great toner if you find its too harsh add some rose water which is really great for your skin too.

Burt's Bees has such a toner if you just want to buy it outright instead of mixing it on your own
