I'd consult your piercer and ask what they suggest. But for the time being gently clean them with a gentle soap and water and then leave them alone. Your body will heal on its own and using a bunch of antiseptics can kill the good bacteria that heal. When I had my traguses pierced my piercer told me to leave them alone and clean them only in the shower under the water. It was the best advice ever because my body took care of healing on it's own and there wasn't any infection or irritation. To this day they are the most comfortable piercings I have, and the only ones I've kept in.

Are you sure they're infected, or just not doing so well? If they're infected you'll notice redness and the area around them will be warmer than usual. There may also be some pus/discharge depending on the severity. If they really are infected the only way to treat it is with anitibiotics. They may not even be infected though, you should do some research and make sure it's not another less serious problem. Going to your piercer is always a good idea too.

Spray them lightly with some antiseptic spray to stop it getting any worse. And go back to thwarting piercer and ask what's happened and what to do :)

It could be because of your earrings. Some people are allergic to certain metal.

Salt water or antiseptic cream/spray :)

To answer Katie, yes I am most definitely sure that they are infected. I'll probably go back to my piercer.

I get this everytime I get a piercing in my ears and I have a few lol I think my body rejects it at first. I keep it very clean with saltwater and antiseptic. I wear my earrings quite loose. Its nickel in jewellery that most people react too so try wearing real gold or silver :) xx
