Hey girls 😊 how do you know what part of your hair to cut off? I don't mean when you are getting a certain hair style or something...but when you just want a healthy trim.
My hair is pretty curly and long so I would love to know how much I should cut. Is 1 inch enough? My ends are thinner than the rest of my hair and were highlighted, straightened and dyed before I went curly girl. (more than 6 months ago)
That picture is my hair scrunched and you can tell how my ends look. They do not scrunch up as well as the rest of my hair

Just let the stylist know you want a trim. A trained professional will know just how much to take off to keep the length and get it healthy again. But really there is no set answer. It really depends on the damage to your tips, how long it's been since your last trim, how much has been done to it like treatments and styling. Believe it or not diet and sun exposure affect hair health too and these ate all factors that contribute to how much needs to be trimmed off the ends to make it healthy again.

A riel on YouTube did hers like this her hair was straight so you might want to do that and she held her ends up to her face and said if you can see through them cut them they are split and not needed
