Have you tried using the purple shampoo? It's usually used on blondes to take out the brassiness. I have ashy hair color but due to product buildup starts to have this goldish-orangey effect and that purple shampoo takes it out.

Ya I would try purple shampoo.. It's worth a shot. It works great with blonde hair and its design is just to counteract brassy colors so it probably will be great... And Amy I have the same question Basma has with your eyebrows :) they're gorgeous

Get someone to put a toner on it, depending where you are they are usually £20 in uk

No, purple shampoo unfortunately won't work on brunette hair with orange and red tones. Purple neutralizes yellow and light gold best. Aveda Black Malva conditioner works amazingly well. Not the shampoo, just the conditioner. The effects are pretty long lasting as well. It has a green undertone and that is what neutralizes red and red-orange the best. Imo I use it on people as if it is a haircolor , time it for five mins and only use as needed. You might need to use it more frequently in the beginning to get the effect you want. It's not a very shine-enhancing conditioner btw.

@ todd s haha it's okay they don't have to know that it is a conditioner as long as they are getting the results :p and thanks a lot I will definitely be trying it out ;)

I agree with Todd! Or, you could always tone it (best if professionally done). Green cancels red, blue cancels orange. The reason why they're best done professionally is usually they can customize the toner to cancel all the tones you don't want in your hair). Black Malva conditioner is also a great solution like Todd mentioned. I used it a ton at my old AVEDA salon and saw great results.

I definitely agree with Todd and Niki, toner is probably your best solution but if you don't know what your doing or what you need to get the result you want it could end up totally wrong. maybe set up a consultation with a stylist to see what your options are. I also don't think the purple shampoo will do anything, I do agree the AVEDA shampoos are really good though! You can usually get them at AVEDA salons.
