Hey can someone tell me how to get good color of red without bleaching my hair? I have red hair dye in now & I have dark brown hair , someone told me I didn't have to bleach it to get color... any suggestions?

You don't have to bleach it just get a red hair dye from the drugstore and dye it my mom has dark red brown hair and it dyed to whatever shade she likes.

I just recently dyed by hair red and I didnt have to bleach it :) Buy Loreal excellence hicolor hilights dye. its specifically ment for dark hair so you don't have to bleach it. (they're only $6) I needed two tubes of red and I also got one tube of magenta to get the color I wanted. The only other thing you need is a 40 developer and you're set :)

Agree with Jes but I used a 20 developer and didn't bleach my hair.

Garnier fruits hair color, like this http://reviews.garnierusa.com/6506-en_us/603084223565/nutrisse-ultra-color-r2-medium-intense-auburn-reviews/reviews.htm?sort=helpfulness I used that with dark brown hair and had magenta/ bright red hair. there are three different tones as well so you can go even brighter or even darker.
