I never seem to get the same result with hot roller. I put them in with my clip in hair extensions since my natural hair is much shorter than my extensions and rarely get a result I like. Any tips? (Pictures included)

Sorry for the silly pic lol. But this was the result. None of the curls really matched and it looked messy :/ I always have to go over most with a curling iron :/

Make sure the sections you roll are even, and don't leave them in for too long otherwise the curl will be too tight and will look odd. I think you should lightly comb through the curls, this will blend them together and create a softer, cleaner curl like a curling iron gives. x :)

Extensions mean more length on the roller and so you aren't going to see the sort of heat transfer you would on shorter strands. Vary the size of your roller to accommodate the length...with Jumbo rollers on your longest locks. I have an inexpensive travel set that is solely Jumbo rollers. You may want to consider using a straightener and Croc clips for more even, longer lasting curls. Be sure it has a rounded edge. Good luck!
