So my hair is in extensions and I want different styles for straight hair. I'm always doing a beach wave and my flexirods aren't making the curl pattern I want. Any one know how to wrap them differently?

Try getting a 3 barrel heat tool like this! I use mine all the time and really like it.

Usually when using flexi rods you need to have your hair wet with water or dampened by product then use the rods. Wrap hair for 2 hours or so or leave on over night. Usually you use them after washing hair but as far as hairstyles go I would rock this everyday and it could easily change to a high or low ponytail or a cute girly bun or use the rods and you have beach waves. Watch a youtube video to see how to properly place tha rods.
