I normally use the pure oil once a week because it's quite harsh. If you want to use it more often I would suggest diluting it with water or buying a tea tree oil cleanser.

I wet a cotton pad with water and then put a few drops of tea tree oil on it and that works good for me:)

I don't dilute. I pour some drops on a qtip and directly dab it on the area!

Sometimes the tea tree doesn't work so I use hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol. One dab on the trouble area.
