All the beauties here that suffer from rosacea/very sensitive skin, what foundation and face makeup do you use for a flawless face? I have sensitive skin and rosacea and everything irritates my skin and makes it so red! please help :(

I feel you girl, I'm a dermatitis sufferer. I currently use L'Oreal True Match. Another great drugstore brand is Marcelle. They're both amazing for sensitive skin and don't use any harsh dyes and they're dermatologist tested.

Thanks so much, yeah I just keep buying foundations that flare up my skin and I'm just wasting money :( I'll definitely check these out, thanks :)

Yeah I hate that, what makeup brands make you flare up? Also try to use foundations that are water based, it's less likely to irritate your skin. I've also found using a moisturizer under my foundation helps. I currently use Simple Skincare products for cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. I think I've tried every skincare product out there and they've all made me flare up but this is the only brand that hasn't.

I've tried Mac, covergirl, physicians formula, maybeline. I love simple skincare! I use their cleansing wipes. Have you tired makeup forever HD? I have heard many good things about the foundation but nothing about using it for sensitive skin so I'm scared to buy it lol

Yeah Mac is horrible lol, they use harsh chemicals, it actually bleached my friends skin. Covergirl products also aren't good for you at all and cause a lot of reactions for people. I really want to try Makeup Forever HD!! It looks amazing but I'm the same as you, I don't know how it will react on my skin but I've never heard any bad reviews on it.

Sheer cover cosmetics is great for what your asking for and it is meant to cover rosacea and that it does you can look at bed bath and beyond for it.I also loveEstee Lauder but that may be to much for your sensitive skin.I also suggest clinique which is all about your skin :-)

Shauna, yes I really want to try it too, yes I've heard all good things too. Maybe I'll look at more reviews and stuff about it.
Alma, I'll check out the sheer cover cosmetics, I never heard of it. Thanks :)

I also heard bare minerals and dermablend are good for sensitive skin. I haven't tried them yet. As for Clinique I find it hit and miss. I even talked to their beauty rep and she said even though it's advertised for sensitive skin it's a brand that either your skin loves or can't tolerate at all. I haven't tried their foundation, I love their lipstick and mascara but I absolutely hate their cleansers, it made me get a rash and tiny bumps all over my face.

I mix natural foundations with simple moisturiser and set with a powder. It makes my super sensitive skin fine x

Just like Jennifer I also have sensitive/red skin and I use the garnier bb cream and my face didn't break out or get more red or any hives I also use an almay powder that didn't make my skin react either. Be vary careful with cheap face product s like wet and wild not good for sensitive skin.

Alisha, "uritage" has a moisturizer that looks like a bb cream and its made specially for skins with rosacea. I have rosacea and use it, it's amazing it lets your skin very soft! I can take a picture and put or here if you want. I also use their moisturizer without color (regular moisturizer) and its also great.
