Hello beauties after reading many of your posts I have decided to buy a Mac lipstick I just don't know which one to get ,Russian Red or Ruby Woo what's the difference between them and what do you recommend ðŸ’„💄💄thanks.

I never wear red lipstick but I have bought 1 red in case I ever get the urge lol I tried both and although the ruby woo is world famous and most popular - I got the Russian red as I felt it was more a deep shade or red. I love my pinks and nudes with heavy eyes xxxx

@ Poonam I'm not much of a red girl either I just figured red is a staple in a make up bag , also I read somewhere wear red lips for a 7 day challenge

I'm a red lipstick I wearer and own both. I find Ruby Woo brighter, it's very matte. Russian Red is maybe easier to wear. It's slightly darker (due to texture I think). This is Ruby Woo (apologies for the silly face, I don't photograph well!)

I love both actually! I agree with Lydia that ruby woo is a bit brighter but I love it as much as Russian red. My boyfriend surprised me with Riri Woo (a bit darker then ruby woo) which I'm loving as well! (I think I have too many reds lol)

For me Rudy is extremely drying to my lips very matte so wear smethg under or over it for moisture.
