Ok I'm a hairdresser and was just wondering if anyone has dyed there hair black for years and got it blonde, how long did it take and how! For a article I'm doing.

I did it last spring..and I went in with my hair halway down my back amd left with shoulder length hair..the hairdresser complety killed my hair.chemically cut it off..and I was there in the salon for about 8 hours...waste of time and money.never again will I do that. its been over a year and my hair still isent back to normal and it won't grow so now I have extensions.
