I would call my size a "curvy & big" girl. I love wearing shorts and tank tops but I really only wear them at the house. I feel like if I wear them in public people are like "eww that's gross" so I'm asking what's your opinion when you see "big" girls in shorts and tank tops?

I'm also kinda big and curvy but tall. I also don't like wearing short shorts because I have fat thighs and I think people will think I look ugly. I think dresses look cute on 'bigger' girls but its your choice. If you feel comfortable wearing shorts and tanktops then you should. :)

Wear whatever you're comfortable with! I'm also bigger and if I wear a shorts I wear a more covering shirt, if I wear a tank top I wear capris. It just depends on your comfort level :)

Honestly? I think it's important to be happy in your skin BUT it's important to also know what flatters your body type... I have large thighs and I know certain shorts DON't look good glued to my thighs, but I've found what works for me. You just have to find what works for you and flatters those curves (;

I'm curvy as well, last year when I was insecure about my legs, I didn't wear short shorts and tank tops during one day during the summer in public due to my worry of people making judgements. Now I am confident in wearing shorts and a tank because a judgement someone will make about me will not benefit their life and it really won't do any better to them. Don't try anything too tight though!
