I've been trying to grow my hair out for like three months now. I'm getting a little bit of results, but it's not happening fast enough for me. any ideas to speed up this process?

Try trimming your hair every two months to get rid of split ends. Massage your scalp, it helps stimulate the hair follicle and make it grow faster

Only trim your ends if you really need too, trim it least as possible. Try not to use heat at all until you get the lenghth you want so you won't have to trim it often. Moisturizer a lot(: thats about it, just have a lot of patience. My hair was to my shoulders and I was desperate for long hair but after? year it grew to where I wanted it.

Avoid heat, keeping hair tied & off your clothing. DO NOT trim your ends! You're letting your hair stay the same length if you trim repeatedly. trim every 8 months & ONLY 1 Inch. horse shampoo & conditioner also. This is just what helped me..

Hair only grows about half an inch a month, so be patient. I understand where you're coming from though. try using products that don't have mineral oil in them. have tout heard of the curly girl method? also, in wearing my hair curly all summer (actually I haven't straightened my hair since mid March) & I finger detangle my hair instead of using a comb - I only comb my hair on wash day. I deep condition my hair once a week and I bought some plastic shower caps to put on my hair while the conditioner is on in the shower. also, try using a protein shampoo abd conditioner every month or every six weeks. after I rinse out my conditioner I use a ton of Dark and Lovely's Au Naturale Coil Moisturizing Suffle, putting a lot on the ends of my hair to keep them moisturized. then I seal my hair with coconut oil. lately I've been putting my hair in a bun to protect my ends, but either way I don't comb my hair often. hopefully this works. everytime keeps telling me my puff ponytail looks bigger. I'll know by August once I straighten it again.

Thanks girls. all this stuff really helped. I think I'm just going to avoid heat until about December. I love straightening out my curls and making than wavy. blahhh. and patience is my worst enemy!! ha. I see a tiny difference from what I'm doing now. I condition everyday, but only shampoo once a week. every two weeks I put olive oil in my hair. but Shea butter lotion keeps my hair really moistened. I love it!!
