What's the best hair bleach that won't damage your hair as much.

Go to a stylist. do not attempt on your own. trust me. I learned from my own mistake.

Unfortunately, bleach is damaging. the concept in itself hurts the hair. the way bleach works is it gets into the hair shaft, expands and blows the cuticle open, and eats the melanin in your hair. (melanin is what's in your skin, eyes and hair that provides the color.) the integrity of your hair can become compromised if you lighten incorrectly. using the wrong developer for the wrong type of hair is bad. I would definitely go to a professional hair dresser because lightener can be unpredictable. depending on what's in your hair already (box color, professional color, previous lightener etc) it could go wrong. going to a salon insures that if something does go wrong they have the necessary products to fix it. blondes rarely turn out 100% perfect and more often than not require toners. sometimes even mixed toners that only cosmetologists would know how to formulate. buuutt, in my opinion, I was trained and certified on Paul Mitchell products, and that's what I use my favorite is DPL.
