Tinted moisturizer or Bb cream?

I don't want a super pricey product like over 15 cause I'm young and I don't have a job yet. I don't know which one I should get since everyone says a bb cream is similar to a tinted moisturizer. I used to use foundation but I'm only 15 and I don't want to damage my skin too much with a foundation. so which one should I get and recommended brands?
