Currently, I put spots of bb cream on my cheeks, forhead, chin, and nose, then I use a brush to spread it out. I've seen people squirt the product on the back of their hand, and dab their brush in it, then apply it to their face. which way is better?

Your way is just fine :) I think it blends the product more evenly where you need it if it's already on your face :)

I always put product on the top of my hand. (Primer, foundation, concealer, etc.) That way I won't put too much on my face :)
