Benefits porefessional is a good primer to get rid of shine when you're wearing makeup, but definitely like lolli said toners and oil-free everything.

Also I think finding a good oil free astringent has gotten rid of the majority of my oil. I use the Clean and Clear one. Really recommend.

Milk of Magnesia as a primer. It absorbs all the excess oil in your face. This stuff saved my life, any foundation I use now always looks matte and lasts long because of it. :)

Clinique 3 step. Estée Lauder has a great matte primer. Clinique Stay Matte or Pore Refining makeup (the Pore Refining Instant Perfecter helps with oiliness too), Clinique blended face powder sets makeup wonderfully, Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray. Exfoliate 2x a day if your face can handle it. Get a facial cleansing brush. Even the oil of Olay brush works great. Blotting papers. This all works for me for 12 hours, two jobs (one being a waitress at a greasy breakfast diner). Remember it takes time and effort! Good luck!

Milk of magnesia is amazing for oil absorbing. You could also try witch hazel as your toner.

Vitamin A rich foods/supplements with help reduce the oil production of your skin naturally!! Also try using organic rose water as a toner and oil free moisturizer like Clinique dramatically different gel moisturizer...Primers as mentioned above help too!!
