You can't possibly grow hair faster, just prevent your hair from breaking.
Of course, hair breaks naturally and sheds, but you can prevent your hair from breaking by trimming split ends, trying not to brush it too much, no heat processing. I have Afro hair... Which is shoulder length... I prefer to keep it short cause washing and drying and styling is long, but in cold weather I tend to keep my hair in braids or extensions... Oh and when you relax your hair... You need to make sure you take care of the hair when it grows out. This is because the point where your new growth and the relaxed hair meets is very weak... So take extra care when your hair is growing out. Ummm yeah and just the obvious things like condition and moisturise your hair... Wash it and deep condish regularly and yeah... I think that's it :) good luck x
