I never tried Coal Face but I use African Black soap and have seen awesome results in my skin and that of my acne prone 13 year old daughter. Plus, at $3.99 for a bar that last 4 months I consider it a true deal.

I LOOOOVVVEEE Nubian Heritage black soap...I buy mine from Drugstore.com or Amazon.com for about $3 a bar...and it is amazing. I have acne prone skin...I have not had one break out since I started using this in the morning and the evening...its greatly faded my old acne scars (faded meaning I don't have any anymore)...and I love the smell...great on face, body, and even hair (after I do an oil treatment, sometimes I will lather my hair up with black soap to get all the oil out...I do this if I use a large amount of castor oil)...I follow it with apple cider vinegar diluted with water (smells awful...but it goes away once you use a moisturizer) and its totally transformed my skin from tragic to near perfect...I've tried proactive, murad, yes to carrots, and anything else you can think of...and this is the best thing I've ever used...AND by far the cheapest.
