Color your hair a tiny bit darker than that.it'll remove the red. it might not be as dark as you want it but it'll look better than what it is.

You don't think I should bleach it more and use toner instead?
May 17, 2013
Becca S.
Noo you're hair will break off and you won't be able to do anything with it like style it for portion.bleaching it once is harsh enough for your hair, yet alone 2x

For prom* augh sorry auto correct.

There is barely any damage now though my hair is still soft no breakage maybe I could risk it?
May 17, 2013
Becca S.
Yeah you can try it, let me know how it goes!

I don't recommend doing any of the things above...if you bleach it your hair is NOT going to turn out how you want it and it's going to be a fried frizzy mess.. Like I said in your other thread go to a professional.
May 17, 2013
Dilar C.
But I did bleach it there's not much damage it's just ugly orange.

Yeeea that's why I said to get it done professionally. Because now you'll have to dye it again. You might not see the damage NOW but in a couple days you will.

Because the hair has a warm tone, probably best to use a cooler tone if you decide to go blonde, so ash would be fine, but I wouldn't put staight bleach on! Probably bleach bath? X.

Light brown sorry! X.

Do you just think if I used a 10 developer with bleach it would be less harsh. Because the salons in my city are absolutely ridiculously overpriced and they do you hair as fast as possible and go to next costumer

You could purchase a box dye in ash brown and just dye your hair, after you do that you can deep condition it.
May 17, 2013
Caroline T.
Yeah that would be fine or you could add shampoo and water too :) x

Just dye your hair with a slightly darker box dye than it already is. You don't want to bleach again cause it could go even worse, and you don't want to use a lighter dye incase it goes patchy. Even if it's not the ideal colour you wanted it's a quick fix

I don't recommend using an ash dye after you bleach your hair. Bleaching your hair strips it of ALL pigment, which means it's going to really bring out the undertone in the dye your use. It's going to look greenish gray if you use an ash dye. If you use one with warm undertones it's going to have a lot of red in it. And so on.
